Our staff, board and volunteers agree: Just as the problems associated with addiction permeate our community, the solutions associated with recovery can benefit all of us as well. The more we support recovery in our community, the more our community benefits from its fruits-stronger, healthier families, a more productive workforce, safer streets, less crime, happier children, a more efficient health care system, and the promise of hope.
What We Do: As part of a national organization founded by the first woman to get sober in the modern recovery
movement, NCADD- Sacramento has worked for over 30 years in the field of alcoholism and drug
addiction. |
| |
What We've Done: Our mission is to promote public understanding of alcoholism and drug addiction as preventable and treatable diseases. To accomplish this, we provide direct services, hold professional trainings, offer information and referrals and conduct education, organizing and outreach. |
